Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the following terms. Please ensure you read through carefully before placing an order.
General Terms
★ Commissions are for Personal Use only unless commercial rights are purchased. (Additional fees apply depending on service.)★ My artwork may be used for personal display such as profile pictures, banners, posting on Social Media with Credit, or printing for yourself, but may not be used for profit without prior agreement.★ AI/NFT use is strictly prohibited. My work may not be used in AI datasets, engines, or minted as NFTs.★ I reserve the right to decline commissions outside of my abilities or for subjects I will not draw.★ Communication is important. If I do not receive a response within 1 week, I will proceed and deliver the artwork as is.★ You receive 2 free revisions (sketch stage only). Additional revisions cost $5 each, paid before I continue. Please provide all feedback at the sketch stage.
Content Policy
★ I Reserve the Right to cancel or reject any commissions if I deem them outside of my abilities or if I am uncomfortable with the content you wish me to draw.★ I am comfortable drawing humans, humanoids, anthro, and feral characters.★ I will NOT draw any blatant NSFW content as I am not comfortable drawing it and frankly not that good.★ That being said, I am comfortable drawing soft core, suggestive posing, topless males, and females, and am up for discussing this if you have further questions.★Anything considered fetish art is not accepted.★ I am comfortable drawing gore, though I’m out of practice. Heavy gore may be subject to content of it. Scratches, cuts, bruises, bites etc are accepted.★ I am perfectly okay drawing self harm scars and will not draw active wounds in that topic. Furthermore I will not draw committing of these acts or suicidal content.★ I am comfortable drawing light drug use (marijuana), as well as alcohol use or cigarettes, however I will not draw any illicit drug use or abuse.★ I will not draw any form of hate-content.★ Ship art is welcome if its appropriate, I will not draw any form of abusive relationships or age-inappropriate ships.★ I am comfortable drawing fanart.
Payment & Fees
★ All payments are either upfront in full OR half at the start and half after sketch approval through the agreed platform.★ Payments to proposals should be paid fully within 2 weeks or will be declined.★ A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) fee of $100 applies if you request that I do not post your commission publicly or use it in my portfolio.★ Complexity Fee is between $10-$100 for all commission. A complex design falls under:
——— more than 5 colours
——— Complex/intricate patterning
——— Complex/intricate clothing or accessories
——— or other complicated traits of a character that would make completing the commission more difficult.★ If a commissioner wants to buy Commercial Use AFTER a commission, the prices are as follows:
——— Streamer Commercial Use: $25 USD
——— Merchandise Commercial Use: $60 USD
Revisions
★ Layout revisions are only available during the sketching phase——— I will send two sketches, a very broad layout sketch (think shapes and construction lines) and a more detailed second sketch meant to prepare for linework.★ Once sketches are approved, no further changes will be made unless due to an error on my part. Mistakes I make will always be corrected at no cost.★ After I send the final update before the finished product where I ask for any final touches, and you have received the finished product. No other changes aside from background colours, name/info, or small details such as colour or whiskers will be added, this is to keep me from doing additional free work.★ In regards to Custom Design commissions, I offer 3 facial designs up front with additional revisions through communication with the commissioner. Afterwards I do 2 body designs using the palette decided on in the facial design period.
Refunds
★ I may cancel and refund a commission at any time.★ You may cancel before payment is made OR if paying in two increments, can be refunded the first payment before sketching is started.★ Once work is started, full refunds are no longer available.★ Chargebacks are strictly prohibited.
Deadlines & Delivery
★ Commissions may take up to 1 month depending on complexity, queue, health, work, or personal matters.★ I will communicate updates if any delays occur.★If you wish to skip the Queue and be Priority, the fee will be $10 USD. You will have to include that in your request if you wish for a Rush Fee.
Intellectual Property Rights
★ I, the artist, retail all rights to the commissioned artwork. You are purchasing usage rights, not ownership of the artwork itself.I may use the artwork for:
★ Promoting myself and my services.
★ Posting on social media and in my portfolio.
★ Creating prints/merchandise (for fanart commissions or with your prior consent of original character artwork)Exceptions
★ If an NDA was purchased, the artwork will not be used or posted for promotional purposed.
Commissioner Rights
As a Commissioner You May:★ Use the artwork for personal purposes only. (Unless commercial rights are purchased.)
★ Print the art for yourself.
★ Post it on Social Media with credit to myself. (@Glowsol/Glow.Sol/Glow-sol)
★ Commission art/services of other artists using my Design/Work as reference imagesYou May Not:★ Use the artwork commercially without permission.
★ Claim the artwork as your own or fail to properly credit me.
★ Remove signatures/watermarks.
★ Resell or redistribute the artwork.
— This doesn’t apply to adding value to a character and selling said character with a higher price due to artwork.
★Modify the artwork without my consent.
★ Use artwork purchase for Personal Use in merch, streaming, or commercial projects.
Personal Interactions
★ While I value having a positive relationship with those that support and commission me, it is important to state that I have personal boundaries that I wish to have respected when you commission me for my own safety and yours.Please do not:
★ Vent or try to discuss inappropriate topics with me.
★ Push being friends or constantly attempt small talk when discussing commissioning.
★ Ask me about my sexuality or gender identity, this makes me incredibly uncomfortable and if my gender has any sway on if you commission me, don’t commission me.
★ I have a discord where I interact with friends and supporters, if what your asking in direct message isn’t appropriate for the 13+ channel, it’s not appropriate to message me about.
★ Failure to respect these will result in blocking and blacklist, please use common sense when direct messaging me.
Blacklist Policy
★ Failure to follow the rules in this agreement may result in permanent public blacklist. (With evidence.)★ The blacklist may be shared with other artists.
Final Agreement
By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above terms.
